Next to music, beer was best.

About This Quote

Next to music, beer was best. This quote is quite the opposite of what most people say. Most people will say that music is the best thing they have ever had or are currently enjoying. The irony of this quote comes from its origin.

Many years ago, there was a beer brewing company that sold their beer through the mail. They would ship the beer to different locations for consumers to purchase their beer. The problem was that some places were more convenient for consumers than others.

The owners of the company came up with a way of sending beer to different locations based on where they were located. The people who lived closest to the brewery would receive their beer first, followed by those who lived further away later in the day. Based on this idea, they divided the whole of the United States into three parts and sent out beer accordingly.

The order was: North, South and East.
